Only limited public information is available about Wang Lianhe, whose writing is mainly aimed at young readers and spans popular science and education. In popular science, he focuses on dinosaurs and prehistoric life in books such as Back to the Age of Dinosaurs and Straight into Jurassic Park, which introduce dinosaur knowledge by leading readers through geological periods, while Where Is the New Continent turns to geographical discovery and exploration. In education, he took part in writing Management and Education on Fraud, Theft and Violence Prevention for Students In and Out of School, which addresses students' daily safety and self-protection.
