About the author

Wang Hongmin is a Chinese physician of traditional Chinese medicine and a formal disciple of Professor Wang Juyi, the founder of meridian medicine. He serves as a senior lecturer at the Beijing School for the Blind and has long been engaged in the study and teaching of meridian medicine. Public information about him is limited, and details of his life and dates of birth and death are not recorded; his published works, however, clearly show his professional focus: grounding clinical practice in meridian diagnosis and treatment based on meridian differentiation, applied to acupuncture and pediatric meridian massage. Three of his works are available here: Notes on the Study of Meridian Medicine: Medical Anecdotes, Clinical Notes on Meridian Medicine: Medical Cases of Acupuncture and Pediatric Meridian Massage, and Training in Meridian Diagnosis and Clinical Thinking in Massage. These works combine the readability of medical anecdotes with the evidential value of case records, with an emphasis on training clinical thinking, and are suitable references for TCM practitioners and students.
