Wang Mengtian is an author about whom very little public information is available. The only confirmed detail is that one work appears under this name, My View of China, which is classified as a classic work. Judging from the title, the book likely takes personal observation and feeling as its thread, describing Chinese society, cultural customs, or everyday life, and may be read as a piece of documentary-style writing or personal notes. Because reliable records of the author's life, nationality, education, and writing career are lacking, it is not possible to sketch the author's identity or creative development further, nor would it be appropriate to speculate much about writing style. Readers interested in this work may focus on the perspective and narrative approach presented in the text itself, and on how the author describes China through an "I"-centered lens. Given the limited materials, this introduction is offered only as an objective note and may be supplemented if more public information becomes available.
