Wang Hui

Wang Hui, born in October 1962 in Wuhan, Hubei, holds a doctorate and postdoctoral background in literature. He is a second-tier professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Chinese Language and Literature, Nanjing Normal University, and serves as executive director of the China Institute for Non-fiction Studies, receiving a special government allowance from the State Council. His research covers non-fiction literature, film and television art theory and criticism, and modern and contemporary Chinese literature, and he has published 28 academic monographs and edited volumes. The library holds seven of his works, spanning medicine, film and television, and engineering: clinical works on traditional Chinese medicine such as National Renowned TCM Doctor Wang Hui's Syndrome-Based Formulas and Clinical Practice of Image-Based TCM, film and television selections such as Chinese Microfilms 2014–2015, and engineering titles including Reverse Engineering and 3D Printing Technology. His works reflect an empirical and interdisciplinary outlook and serve both specialists and practitioners.
