王晓波

Wang Xiaobo's publicly available information is limited, and what is known comes mainly from his works. His writing spans two distinct fields: programming technology and modern poetry. In technical writing, he is the author of x86 Assembly Language: From Real Mode to Protected Mode and x86 Assembly Language: Writing a 64-Bit Multiprocessor Multithreaded Operating System, both centered on the x86 architecture, moving from real mode to protected mode and further into 64-bit multiprocessor and multithreaded operating system development; they are aimed at low-level system study and practice, with attention to explaining mechanisms and hands-on implementation. In poetry, he has published Riding the Moon in Flight and Vast Mountains and Rivers, and took part in compiling Zhongshan Modern Poetry Selections: 2000–2020; his poems touch on personal imagination and landscapes, and the anthology also helps document local poetry. These two lines of writing give him a distinct presence among both technical and literary readers.
