独木舟

Dumu Zhou is a Chinese author known for young-adult literature and personal essays. Her publicly available biographical information is limited, and no systematic account of her life has been disclosed. Thirteen of her works are currently known, including Deep Sea Stars 1 and Deep Sea Stars 2, Living Alone, the two-volume Dumu Zhou: A Grain of Red Dust series, She Walked Through the Rainstorm, You Are My Exclusive Memory, Crown of Thorns, and A Person Hidden in a Sea of People. These works suggest that her writing centers on youthful growth, emotional experience, and individual life, spanning both fiction and essays: the fiction emphasizes character relationships and emotional development, while the essays lean toward everyday observation and self-reflection. Her style is delicate and attentive to detail and inner feeling, giving her a recognizable presence among readers of young-adult literature.
