温酒

Wen Jiu is a Chinese writer about whom little public information is available; no reliable records confirm nationality, dates of birth and death, or an English name, and four works by this author are currently known. Representative titles include Hey, Little One (listed twice in the collection), the two-volume Zhihu Highly Upvoted Answerer: Wen Jiu's Bedtime Stories, and Wuchang Shop. Judging by the usual categories, the writing spans prose and miscellaneous essays, modern romance, and social fiction, and is often grouped with classic works. Overall, Wen Jiu is known for bedtime stories: short, gentle in tone, and skilled at building a quiet narrative atmosphere between everyday detail and light fantasy. Some pieces also touch on emotional relationships and social reality, giving the work an approachable popular-literary quality. The available material is not enough to sketch a biography, so this note limits itself to theme and style.
