Fan Deng

Fan Deng was born in Xi'an, Shaanxi, in 1976. A former program host at China Central Television, he is the founder and chief content officer of Fanbook (formerly Fan Deng Reading). He graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University and later earned a doctorate in film studies from Beijing Normal University, and has long worked in reading promotion and leadership training. Eleven of his works are included in the collection, spanning social sciences, history, inspirational growth and parenting. He is skilled at turning knowledge into accessible expression: his history works, such as the Comics Chinese History series, present the Qing, Song and Yuan-Ming periods in comic form; his parenting and growth titles, including the psychological comics for children, address children's psychology and personal development; and The Essence of Work focuses on the workplace and working methods. His writing emphasizes practicality and readability for general readers.
