About the author

Liang Youzhi is an author about whom little public information is available, with five works held in the collection. Judging from the existing titles, his writing and editorial work center largely on Wang Zengqi: there are a prose anthology for young readers, Cui Hu Xin Ying, and a fiction anthology, The Boy Who Fished for People, as well as A Century of Zengqi: 1920–2020, marking the centenary of Wang Zengqi's birth. He has also edited volumes one and two of A Century of Literati: Clear or Blurred Silhouettes, extending his scope to portraits of literary figures over the past century. His works appear under categories such as essays and miscellaneous writings, social fiction, historical reading, and classic works, reflecting an approach that combines literary anthologies with the organization of literary-historical materials. He is skilled at guiding readers into classic texts through anthologies, balancing popularization with preservation; because biographical information is limited, a fuller account of his creative trajectory cannot yet be given.
