Zhijiu is an author with limited publicly available information; the main confirmed detail is that their writing falls under the common category of time-travel alternate history. Only one work by this author is held in the collection, the representative title Qing Jie (Trial of Love), which, together with the author's name, forms the basic clues by which readers may come to know Zhijiu. Time-travel alternate history generally refers to stories in which protagonists cross time and space into a fictional history or otherworld to develop the plot, and such writing often emphasizes the ups and downs of characters' fates and emotional conflicts. The word "qing jie" in the title also suggests that the work may center on emotional entanglements and life's trials. Because there are no confirmed records of the author's biography, nationality, dates of birth and death, or English name, it is currently difficult to further describe their creative career and overall style; readers may turn to the actual content of Qing Jie to appreciate its thematic orientation and narrative features.
