Lin Qingwei is a Chinese author about whom limited public information is available; neither the years of birth and death nor an English name has been clearly recorded. One work by this author is held in the collection, the representative title White Jade (Bai Bi), commonly categorized as time-travel alt-history fiction. Judging from this genre designation, the writing draws on a premise of traveling across time and unfolds characters and plot within an alternate world, carrying the imaginative scope and narrative tension typical of the category. As the only verifiable work to date, White Jade serves as the main basis for understanding Lin Qingwei's creative profile, and the title itself suggests a work possibly centered on a core image or character. Because information on the author's life, output, and later activity remains insufficient, a fuller assessment of the overall direction of the writing style and its literary influence is difficult at present; readers may come to know this author further through the specific content of White Jade.
