Lin Cong is a Chinese author about whom little public information is available. At present, it is known only that one work by her, Fingers Interlocked, has been collected and is categorized as modern romance. This suggests that her writing centers on contemporary urban emotional life, focusing on the ways men and women relate to, become entangled with, and make choices about one another; the title itself hints at closeness and mutual support within intimate relationships. Because verifiable information is so scarce, her background, writing career, and other works cannot be confirmed, and this introduction can only address that single title. Based on the available records, Lin Cong is an author who has come to readers' attention through one romance work, and her style and later development await further material before they can be described or assessed.
