Yang Lixin

Yang Lixin was born in 1952 in Tonghua, Jilin, with ancestral roots in Penglai, Shandong. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Renmin University of China Law School, vice president of the Civil Law Research Society of the China Law Society, and director of the Research Center for Civil and Commercial Law Science at Renmin University of China. He participated throughout the drafting of the Civil Code and has long researched the General Provisions of civil law, tort liability law, property law, and personality rights law. The library holds 11 of his works, mostly centered on the Civil Code, including essential explanations of its provisions, commentaries with cases, explanations of the General Provisions of the Contract Part, and case-based interpretations of judicial interpretations on medical damage liability. His writing combines provision-by-provision exposition with case analysis for practitioners and students, offering reference value for understanding and applying the Civil Code and related judicial interpretations.
