Yang Xu

Yang Xu (born 1932) is a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu, and a member of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese Writers Association. He graduated from the PLA Radio Technology School in 1951 and later served as deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine Yuhua and as executive secretary of the secretariat of the Jiangsu Writers Association. His works include the reportage collections Prosecutor Tang Tietou, The Rong Brothers and A Dream of the Three Gorges, as well as the novel Half an Adventurer; his prose The Golden Fishhook has been included in primary school Chinese textbooks. The library holds five of his works, spanning law, artificial intelligence, foreign literature, social sciences and language studies, ranging from judicial rules for civil cases involving securities misrepresentation and instabilities in tokamak devices and AI applications to social work practice models and the constructionalization of Chinese directional serial-verb constructions.
