杨挹殿

Yang Yidian is an author about whom limited public information is available; details such as nationality, dates of birth and death, and educational background are not clearly recorded. What can be confirmed is that seven works appear under this name, all centered on the sequel to Yongqing Shengping, including the separately issued volumes Yongqing Shengping Houzhuan (Parts One through Seven) and a combined five-volume edition. Judging from the titles and the volume structure, these works are likely different fascicles or versions of a single narrative work, with subject matter leaning toward traditional historical romance and fantasy storytelling; in some library classifications they are placed under classic works and otherworldly continent categories. Owing to the lack of reliable materials beyond the author's own statements and prefaces, his writing style and specific influence are difficult to discuss in detail, and readers may judge for themselves from the texts.
