杨才德

Yang Caide is an expert in acupuncture and moxibustion within traditional Chinese medicine. He is a professor at the First Hospital of Lanzhou University and serves as executive president and secretary-general of the catgut-embedding branch of the China Association for the Promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine Research. His books focus on the clinical practice of acupoint catgut embedding and needle-knife therapy, including Treating Diseases with Catgut Embedding at the Stellate Ganglion, Catgut Embedding in Neurorehabilitation, and Acupoint Catgut Embedding (Long-Acting Acupuncture): Expert Consensus on Predominant Diseases. He studied under Professor Zheng Kuishan, known as the "King of Acupuncture in the Northwest," and Shi Xuemin, a national master of traditional Chinese medicine; he invented the patented "catgut-embedding needle-knife" and founded the "Yang's 3+ series of characteristic therapies." His writing combines technical operation with disease-specific application, serving clinical and teaching needs and holding influence among health and medical readers.
