Yang Kuisong

Yang Kuisong is a Chinese historian born in Beijing in 1953, with his ancestral home in Chongqing. A graduate of the Department of CCP History at Renmin University of China, he served as a researcher at the Institute of Modern History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and later became a professor in the Department of History at Peking University and a distinguished professor at East China Normal University. His research focuses on the history of the Chinese Communist Party, KMT-CCP relations, and Sino-Soviet relations. His writing is known for solid use of historical sources and clear narrative, skillfully reconstructing complex processes where politics and history intersect.
