About the author

Yang Kewei is a collector of classical Chinese medical texts and a council member of the Jilin Provincial Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society, chiefly engaged in organizing and studying modern and contemporary Chinese medical literature. He has led the proofreading of series such as Luo Zhaoju's Three Works on Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Acupuncture Lectures by Famous Physicians of the Republican Period, and served as chief editor of the Collected Studies on Modern and Contemporary Chinese Acupuncture Literature, devoting considerable effort to the systematic sorting of acupuncture sources. Among the three works held in the collection, he is general editor of the Integrated Classic Works of the Modern Shanghai-Style Chinese Medicine Master Wang Yiren, overseeing the compilation of the two volumes on the exposition of medical classics and the volume on studies in the convergence of Chinese and Western medicine. These works focus on Wang Yiren's scholarly writings, addressing both classic interpretation and the integration of Chinese and Western medicine, and reflect a commitment to recovering and organizing Republican-era medical literature. Public information on his personal background and education is limited, and no conjecture is offered here.
