李萍

Li Ping: publicly available information about her is limited, and her nationality, dates of birth and death, and educational background are not clearly recorded. Judging from the 17 titles held in the collection, her interests in reading and editing span several fields: she has worked on Banana Yoshimoto's works and related foreign literature, such as Kitchen, The Argentina Aunt, and Acorn Sisters, as well as books on motivation and personal growth, medicine, and law, including The Academic Legacy of the Famous TCM Doctor Zhu Songyi. She also took part in compiling a whole-book reading assessment for the classic Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk. Overall, her work is more that of a translator, compiler, and reading promoter than of an original writer in a single field. Her translations and editorial writing emphasize readability, bringing the everyday emotions and themes of growth in foreign literature to Chinese readers, while also addressing practical areas such as the transmission of traditional Chinese medicine and adolescent reading assessment, showing a cross-disciplinary, reader-oriented editorial approach.
