Li Yanhong is a name found in Chinese bibliographic records, but publicly available information about her is limited: details such as her nationality, dates of birth and death, and educational background are not clearly documented. One work by her is held in the collection, the prose collection Yanzi Guilai (The Swallow Returns). Judging from its title and its usual classification, the book belongs to the category of prose and miscellaneous writings, likely dealing with everyday observations, emotional memories, or local scenery and customs, in a plain and lyrical style. Because verifiable material is so scarce, it is difficult to assess her writing style and literary influence fully; readers who wish to understand her work may turn directly to The Swallow Returns and form their own impressions of her perspective and prose.
