Li Lin

Li Lin, born in November 1955 in Kunming, Yunnan, with ancestral roots in Zhaoyuan, Shandong, is a jurist. He is a member of the Academic Divisions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, former director and first-class research fellow of the Institute of Law, and a doctoral supervisor. He also serves as deputy director of the Academic Committee of the China Law Society and president of the Jurisprudence Research Society, focusing on jurisprudence, constitutional law, legislative studies and rule-of-law theory. Fifteen of his works are held in the collection, spanning law, psychology, history, industrial technology and management practice. They include works on rule-of-law theory such as Ruling the Country by Law and the Building of Spiritual Civilization and Human Rights and the 21st Century, a translation of Cognitive Psychology (8th Edition), historical works such as A Study of the Qing Dynasty Military Examination, and applied titles on water purification and landscape, cardiovascular CT scanning technology and tax and financial planning for PPP projects, reflecting an interdisciplinary outlook that combines scholarship with practice.
