About the author

Li Wenlin is an author about whom limited public information is available, and a complete account of his identity and career has yet to be established. His works in the collection nevertheless indicate where his writing interests lie. Three titles are currently held, with representative works including Wen Yu Jiuzhang: Wu Wenjun and My Brain Is Open: The Mathematical Journeys of Paul Erdos. The former centers on the mathematician Wu Wenjun, while the latter recounts the life and ideas of the mathematician Paul Erdos; both fall under biography and popular science. Li Wenlin thus appears to present the academic lives of mathematicians through biographical writing, turning specialized material into narratives accessible to general readers, with a steady focus on introducing scientific figures and spreading mathematical culture. His works are both informative and readable.
