李家伟

Li Jiawei is an author about whom limited public information is available. What can be confirmed is that two works appear under this name, one belonging to social fiction and the other to wuxia fiction, with the representative titles Huakai Hongcheng (Blooming in Rainbow City) and Lengyu Qixia (The Cold Rain Knight-Errant). Judging from these categories, his writing reaches into both realistic social life and the imagined world of the martial arts underworld: the former presumably unfolds against a backdrop of social experience, while the latter develops its plot within the wuxia genre, giving his work a certain range in subject matter. Because no clear records have been found regarding his dates of birth and death, nationality, education, or writing career, it is difficult to trace his life and creative development further. On the basis of the available material, the main way to know Li Jiawei remains these two works themselves, through which readers may also observe his narrative attempts in two different genres.
