朱丹红

Zhu Danhong is an author of Chinese-language biographies, and publicly available information about her is limited, with details of her life remaining unclear. Judging from the fifteen works held in the collection, her writing focuses on biographies of women and literary figures from ancient and modern China, covering women such as Zhang Ailing, Li Qingzhao, Sanmao, Cai Wenji, and Zhuo Wenjun, as well as poets including Li Shangyin, Bai Juyi, and Li Bai. Her titles often draw on poetic diction and carry a lyrical tone, as seen in phrases like “qing shi qing qing,” “ban jian jiao hen,” and “meng li hua luo,” indicating an approach that narrates characters’ fates in a literary style and links their lives to their works through emotional threads.
