Shi Qi is a Chinese-language book author about whom very little public information is available. Only one work by this author, The Brave Captain, is known, and it is classified under foreign literature. Judging from the title and category, the book likely deals with seafaring, adventure, and coming-of-age themes, and may be a translation, adaptation, or retelling of a foreign work rather than an original novel. Because reliable information on the author's life, nationality, and writing career is lacking, it is not possible to confirm their background or the full scope of their work. On the available evidence, Shi Qi's writing appears to lean toward children's or popular literature for general readers, emphasizing storytelling and readability while using maritime adventure to convey themes such as courage and responsibility. Works of this kind often serve to introduce foreign literature and broaden readers' horizons, though Shi Qi's actual influence in this field awaits further documentation.
