Wen Jielin is an author about whom little public information is available; his nationality, dates of birth and death, and educational background are not clearly recorded. What can be confirmed is that eight of his works are held in the collection. These works show that his writing interests span several fields: popular history books such as The Great Wall Passes: Famous Gates of the Ten-Thousand-Li Great Wall; local cultural studies such as The Customs of the Huai Region: Cultural Features and Forms of the Two Huai; and educational readers for young people such as Prevention, Management and Education on Gambling, Drugs and Pornography for Students In and Out of School. Happy Every Day leans toward inspirational growth, while Prehistoric Civilization 3D Edition has a popular-science and design flavor. Overall, his works are aimed mainly at general readers and students, with accessible language and clear structure, emphasizing the transmission of knowledge and practical educational value, and offering some practical worth in cultural popularization and youth education.
