About the author

Xu Ning, about whom limited public information is available, has written and edited works spanning medicine, social sciences and architecture, with four titles to date. In medicine, he contributed to Exemplary Documents for a Medical Laboratory Quality System (3rd Edition) and compiled the clinical experience of the veteran Chinese medicine practitioner Xu Jingcai in Follow-up Consultation Records: Selected Proven Cases of the Veteran Chinese Medicine Practitioner Xu Jingcai, reflecting attention to both standardized medical management and the clinical transmission of Chinese medicine. In rural development, he took part in the “Build Rural Areas to Be More Like Rural Areas” series, including the theoretical volume, which surveys the ideas and practice of rural construction in China. His writing leans toward practical, documentary work for professional readers, characterized by case materials and normative texts in a plain style.
