张颖

Public information about Zhang Ying is quite limited; only the eighteen works published under this name offer a rough outline of the author. Her translations and writings span several fields: in world history, the five-volume History of Rome and volume three of The History of the English-Speaking Peoples, The Age of Revolution; in foreign literature, The Moon and Sixpence; and the Western Daily Life Observation Notes series, which touches on social culture and travel. She has also written on personal finance in Private Equity Fund Industry Compliance Management, compiled a Practical Handbook for Ophthalmic Emergencies, and produced a study of aesthetics, Main Trends in French Aesthetics from the 17th to the 19th Century. Wide-ranging as these subjects are, they jointly show an ability to combine scholarly translation with practical writing, with translations that emphasize readability.
