张坤

Zhang Kun is a Chinese author whose works are credited under a relatively consistent name, but public information about him is limited, with no clear record of his life, nationality, or dates of birth and death. Judging from the twenty-six works held in the library, his interests span foreign literature, history, essays and miscellany, classic works, and exam-preparation books, showing an eclectic choice of subjects. Representative works include Never Let Me Go, Lü Simian's Pre-Qin History, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Six Records of a Floating Life, the collected works of Capote, and Stephen King's On Writing. These are mostly editions, compilations, or translations of Chinese and foreign classics and famous authors' works, balancing readability with informative value, and reflecting a focus on popularizing literary classics and spreading historical and cultural knowledge for general readers.
