About the author

Zhang Gang, about whom limited public information is available, writes across several markedly different fields, with works spanning biography, modern poetry, programming and design, and prose. Representative titles include The Ordinary Road: How a Great Lawyer Is Made, The Joy of the Soul: A Dialogue Between the Mind and the Vast World, Principles and Development Practice of Microservice Architecture, and The Edge of Time. Judging from these titles and categories, he traces the growth path of the legal profession in a documentary style, explores spiritual experience and everyday reflections through poetry and prose, and also ventures into technical writing on microservice architecture. This combination of the humanities and technology, of reason and sensibility, gives his work a diverse range of subjects and modes of expression. Four of his works are collected here.
