张保忠

Zhang Baozhong was born in Tianjin in November 1934. He is one of the main founders of the Chinese Official Document Writing Research Association, served for many years as its executive vice president, and is now head of the association's advisory group and director and researcher of the Chinese Official Document Studies Institute. Before retirement, he worked for many years as a secretary in Party and government organs, gaining extensive experience in official document handling. He has published more than 400 articles on official document studies and 20 books on official document writing. The library holds eight of his works, covering the essentials and examples of Party and government official document writing, document formats and commonly used models, document writing and processing, secretarial work, and applied writing standards for government organs, institutions, and enterprises, including financial writing, marketing copy, work reports, and planning proposals. His books address the practical needs of Party and government organs and enterprises, emphasizing format standards and model guidance, and have exerted a certain influence in books on language, politics, and examinations.
