Liao Lixin: public information about this author is limited. At present, all that is known is that Liao Lixin has one work, the prose collection This Heart at Peace, All Is at Peace. Judging from the title and its classification, the writing tends to approach inner cultivation and one's attitude toward life, exploring how a person can keep the mind clear and calm amid a troubled world, with a distinctly essayistic quality. Because no reliable records of biography, nationality, or education are available, it is difficult to form an overall judgment of the author's creative development; readers may instead focus on the ways of thinking and the prose style presented in the work itself. On the available evidence, Liao Lixin's writing is closer to personal reflection than to systematic academic argument, and is suited to readers interested in writing on spiritual composure and philosophical reflections on life.
