常杰森

Chang Jiesen is a martial arts fiction author about whom relatively little is publicly known; his nationality, dates of birth and death, and English name have not been clearly recorded. Three of his works are currently included in the collection, all being the upper, middle, and lower volumes of Ancient Classic Story Library: The Swordsmen of Yongzheng. This suggests that his main focus as a writer or compiler lies in traditional chivalric themes. The series revolves around Jianghu heroes and martial world feuds during the Yongzheng era, featuring intricate plots and a large cast of characters, and carrying a strong flavor of storytelling and chapter-based vernacular fiction, thus continuing the tradition of classic wuxia narrative. Drawing on existing story frameworks, Chang Jiesen emphasizes plot momentum and the atmosphere of the Jianghu, offering general readers an accessible introduction to classical chivalric tales within the martial arts fiction category.
