About the author

Song Ligang is an author with limited publicly available information, and little can be confirmed about his personal background. His works, however, focus on practical issues in China's economy and development. Three titles are included here: the first and second volumes of New Sources of Chinese Economic Growth, which address reform, resources, energy and climate change, and human capital, innovation and technological change respectively; and A New Stage of China's Economic Development: Opportunities and Choices, which discusses the opportunities and decisions at this stage of development. Classified under management, finance and social culture, these works show an interest in overlapping themes such as the drivers of macroeconomic growth, institutional change and sustainable development. The writing is problem-oriented and combines policy issues with academic analysis, making it useful for readers concerned with China's economic transformation. Given the limited biographical material, a fuller understanding of the author still awaits more public information.
