An Yun is a Chinese author and translator in the field of finance, with limited publicly available information. Three of his works are carried in the library: The Man Who Solved the Market (a biography of Jim Simons, with a foreword by DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng), The Smart Fund Manager, and a eight-volume boxed set titled This Is How Top Investors Do It. These works focus on investors, the practical methods of fund managers, and investment philosophy, combining biographical narrative with professional analysis for readers interested in capital markets and asset management. An Yun graduated from Fudan University's Department of World Economics with a master's degree. He previously worked as a strategy analyst at Shenwan Research Institute, where his team ranked first in the New Fortune Best Strategy Analyst awards in 2006 and 2007. In 2009 he joined Changxin Fund, serving successively as researcher and head of research, and from 2011 as a fund manager. He is currently deputy general manager of Changxin Fund and head of its equity division, and is one of the translators of The Man Who Solved the Market. His research background and industry experience lend his financial writing a practical orientation.
