About the author

Meng Fei, born in 1971, is a Chinese writer, a member of the China Writers Association and a participant in the 19th Young and Middle-aged Writers' Advanced Seminar of the Lu Xun Literature Academy, and currently a practicing lawyer. She writes mainly children's literature; her representative works include The Magical Xiaoshuai, The Fourth Kind of Love and Flute Sounds of the Old Garden, and she has received the Bing Xin Children's Literature New Work Award and the top prize of the Zhouzhuang Cup. This site holds five of her works, spanning a wide range of subjects—essays and miscellaneous writings, Marxist philosophy, finance, divination and health—including a collection of Zhou Cezong's learned correspondence, a study of Austrian Marxist theory and practice, a book on the institutional logic of private capital entering the financial sector, and practical readers on logic games and healthful foods. Her writing thus combines academic reflection with everyday usefulness. Public information on how her children's literature relates to her legal career is limited.
