孟彦弘

Meng Yanhong is a Chinese author of books. Public information about him is limited, and neither his biography nor his specific research field is known in detail. The library holds six of his works: five collections of essays—Qiyu Wangzhi, Mengyu Xuan Essays, Guhuang Zhai Academic Essays, Du Shi Za Ping, and Youyu Shuzhai Manlu—and one scholarly monograph, Research on Excavated Documents and the Institutional Systems of the Han and Tang Dynasties. Judging from the titles and categories, his writing spans both academic essays and historical research. The essay collections, mostly published in the “Phoenix Branch Essay Series,” are relaxed in tone and touch on reading, scholarship, and everyday observations, while the monograph focuses on excavated documents and Han–Tang institutions, reflecting a solid grounding in historical sources. The works are classified on the site under classic works and examination preparation, appealing mainly to readers interested in literature and history as well as exam candidates. Owing to limited material, his academic standing and influence cannot yet be described in detail.
