Sun Jia is a figure in Chinese science fiction publishing, known as an author and compiler, though public information about them is limited and the available details come mainly from their signed works. The library holds six of their titles, all concentrated in science fiction and commonly classified as fine fiction and science fiction. Representative works include The Memory Called Empire, the Rogue João trilogy, The Robert Forward Collection (containing Dragon's Egg and Starquake), Causality Angel, Fractal Prince, and Starquake, many of which are associated with the World Science Fiction Masters series and the Science Fiction World imprint. These works suggest an emphasis on space imagination, alien civilizations, and scientific speculation, combining genre appeal with thoughtful reflection, and they have had a certain influence among Chinese science fiction readers.
