Sun Yunzhong: publicly available information is limited, and details of his life, such as nationality, dates of birth and death, and educational background, are not clearly recorded. What is known is that three works by him are extant, with Yunzhong Jibian as his representative title. Judging from the common classifications, Sun Yunzhong's writing touches on two fields, folk literature and social science, and his works show a marked interest in local narrative and record-keeping; the title Jibian also suggests a record and sorting of a particular region or event.
