Pei Li is a web-fiction author about whom little public information is available; existing records do not indicate her nationality, dates of birth and death, or English name. The library holds eight of her works, with representative titles including The Secret of Tengwang Pavilion (three volumes) and The Great Mansion (six volumes, including individual volume editions). Under the common category of time-travel and alternate-history fiction, her writing tends toward large-scale works: some build suspenseful narratives around historical landmarks, while others unfold long family-saga stories set within a grand household and divided into multiple volumes. Overall, Pei Li's fiction uses alternate-history frameworks to explore mystery and the rise and fall of families, and its length and multi-volume structure suit readers who enjoy immersive reading. Because public information on her life and her own comments on writing is lacking, details of her background and stylistic development cannot yet be described.
