About the author

Zhou Qun, about whom limited public information is available, has written across literature, philosophy, cultural studies and popular reading. Judging from the five works on record, he is engaged in both scholarly and popular writing: his academic works include A History of Literary Thought in Jiangsu and Studies of the Taizhou School, tracing regional literary thought and the origins of an intellectual school; he also took part in compiling Research on the Origins of Wan Culture: Proceedings of the First Wan Culture Forum and wrote Jiangsu Cultural Celebrities Through the Ages: Ji Zha, focusing on local cultural origins and biography. In addition, he edited the popular volume 75+80 Classical Poems Every Primary School Student Should Memorize, which serves classical poetry education and exam preparation. His writing combines scholarly rigor with accessibility, with a consistent emphasis on regional culture and the organization and transmission of classical texts.
