About the author

Zhou Meng graduated from the Department of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law at China University of Political Science and Law and is currently enrolled in the EMBA program at Tsinghua University. With years of study and work experience in North America, he holds lawyer qualifications in both China and the United States and now works in law and investment. In his spare time he translates works on economics, including Steve Landsburg's "The Armchair Economist" series. His other titles, "Why Do Smart People Also Do Foolish Things?" and "Economists Are Not What We Think," are finance and economics books that explore economic thinking, common cognitive biases, and counterintuitive judgments, explaining to general readers how economics illuminates everyday decision-making. Public information about him is limited; his writing and translation tend toward plain language that unpacks technical concepts and helps readers bypass habitual patterns of thought.
