Zhou Zhenhua

Zhou Zhenhua was born in 1954 and holds a doctorate in economics. He is a research fellow and doctoral supervisor who served as director of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government Development Research Center and deputy director of the Institute of Economics at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. He is currently president of the Shanghai Economics Association and dean of the Shanghai Institute for Global City, and is a specialist receiving the State Council Special Allowance. He has long engaged in research on industrial economics, macroeconomics and urban economics, and has published more than 20 monographs. Three of his works are included in the collection—Audio-Visual Language: Zhou Zhenhua, Autumn Wind Strong, and A Myriad of Elegant Manners—spanning categories such as examinations, youth literature and social fiction. Public information on his literary background is limited, but his works touch on both language expression and social reality, showing a cross-disciplinary range of writing.
