周其星

Zhou Qixing is a senior Chinese language teacher and curriculum designer at the primary school division of Shenzhen Experimental School. He is also a nationally known promoter of children's reading, founder of the Clover Story Family, and chief mentor of the nationwide Hundred Classes, Thousand Readers literacy program. He was named one of the "Top Ten People Promoting Reading" for 2012 by China Education Daily. As a writer and editor, he co-edited Childhood Classical Chinese Lessons with Gu Bing and Wu Lixin. The series consists of six volumes, one for each grade from first to sixth, and is his representative work in the library. Aimed at primary school readers, the books introduce classical Chinese to children in a grade-by-grade manner, reflecting the author's long-term practice in children's reading and Chinese language education.
