周世康

Zhou Shikang is an author about whom limited public information is available. It is known only that he has two works in print, both centered on the local figures and history of Haimen in Jiangsu Province. The two books, Biographies of Haimen Notables and The Haimen Chronicle, are classified respectively under general biography and historical reading, indicating that his writing focuses on tracing local cultural figures and narrating local history. Judging from their subject matter, the author is concerned with Haimen's notable families and its local memory, seeking to preserve the region's cultural resources through biography and historical narrative and to offer readers an accessible account of Haimen's people and past. Work of this kind typically draws on local gazetteers, archives, and oral materials, balancing factual accuracy with readable storytelling, so the books serve both as reference material and as popular reading for those interested in the culture and history of the Jianghai region.
