Yeats is an author who has drawn considerable attention in the field of foreign literature. The library holds 11 of his works, spanning poetry collections, selected poems, and English-language original editions. Representative titles include the full-translation world literature classic Selected Poems of Yeats, Selected Poems of Yeats, Selected Works of Yeats (English Original), When You Are Old, and the eight-volume series Nature and Poetry. These titles show that his writing centers on poetry, with themes often revolving around love, time, nature, and reflections on life. His language is concise and musical, with a strong lyrical quality. Some works are published in bilingual or all-English editions, allowing readers to engage directly with the original texts. The common categories include foreign literature, classical poetry, literature, and classic works, suggesting that his poems have a certain readership and a tendency toward classic status. Because public information is limited, details of his life, nationality, and birth and death years remain unclear, so this introduction relies mainly on the works held in the library.
