Li Yining

Li Yining (1930–2023), a native of Yizheng, Jiangsu, and born in Nanjing, was a renowned economist and the founding and honorary dean of Peking University's Guanghua School of Management. A key pioneer of China's socialist market economy theory, he was the first to propose the theory of shareholding reform, presided over the drafting of the Securities Law, and received the title of "Reform Pioneer" in 2018.
