Shan Hua

Shan Hua, born in 1971 in Daozhen, Guizhou, is chairman of Shanghai Huayuhua Marketing Consulting Co., Ltd. and a writer with a background in both finance and historical-philosophical writing. In 2002 he co-founded Huayuhua with his younger brother Hua Nan, and in 2006 he founded Dook Culture. His work spans several fields: marketing and management books such as Super Symbols Are Super Creativity, and accessible interpretations of classics such as Hua Shan's Clear Guide to The Art of War. He believes traditional texts should not be confined to the ivory tower; instead, he explains them chapter by chapter in clear, plain language so that readers can grasp the core ideas within a relatively short space. The library holds 65 of his works, most notably the multi-volume Hua Shan's Clear Guide to Zizhi Tongjian, with common categories including history, management, and Eastern philosophy. His writing emphasizes structure and readability, turning ancient texts into intellectual resources for modern readers.
