包利民

Bao Limin is a Chinese essayist. Public information about him is limited, and no clear record of his birth year, native place, or education is available. Judging from the six works held in the collection, his writing consists mainly of prose, along with compiled books intended for exam preparation and reading practice; his works are commonly classified under essays and miscellaneous writings, and under examinations. Representative titles include I Am That Clumsy Kid, A Childhood Made of Mud, Goodbye, Wild Child, Loving the Moon and Sleeping Late, Pitying the Flowers and Rising Early, and Reunion Deep in Time, as well as the nine-volume Middle School Entrance Exam Beautiful Prose Reading Series. These titles point to two clear thematic directions: one looks back on childhood and rural life, recording the small memories and feelings of growing up; the other centers on middle school entrance exam reading and prose appreciation, offering model texts and practice materials for young readers. His writing is generally warm and plain lyrical prose, attentive to everyday details and personal reflection, and well suited to students for reading and imitation.
