Liu Xiwen

Liu Xiwen is Director and Research Fellow of the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a distinguished professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Editor-in-Chief of Think Tank: Theory & Practice. He has long been engaged in research on science and technology policy intelligence, S&T strategic intelligence, and technological competitive intelligence. In 2023, he became the principal investigator of a major National Social Science Fund project on key technologies for intelligent intelligence analysis in the context of digital and intelligent transformation, and has led the compilation of several reports on S&T development trends. His works in this collection cover international frontier fields and directions, third-generation semiconductor materials, and global undersea scientific observation networks, reflecting a focus on S&T strategy and industrial technology analysis.
